Sagay’s bombshell on INEC’s budget
The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Corruption (PACAC), Itse Sagay, is a man that has been drawing the ire of lots of people, most especially the members of the National Assembly. Sagay recently said the President should proceed with sponsoring INEC budget if National Assembly fails to pass the budget.
According to him, the President should invoke “doctrine of necessity”
Sheu Sani and 360 degree turn around .
If there is any doubt as to where Sen Sheu Sani stands, the visit of the Activist turned Senator to Daura by now should seal any doubt.
After making a complete turn around from the PDP bound senator to remain in APC, the lawmaker who earlier invented the “deodorant analogy” left no one in doubt as to where he stands during his Sallah visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, he not just assured the President his support but also his senatorial district after the closed door meeting with the president.
Perhaps the President was able to convince the Afro carrying senator that his anti corruption canister is not “nevea rather baygon or raid”.
Ekweremadu fighting on two fronts
The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu is indeed in a multifrontal battle, he is currently hanging on to his seat following the renewed effort of the ruling party to unseat him and The Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Also, the Enugu Senator will probably face a Pro-Buhari candidate in person of the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechuwkwu for his senatorial seat.
Anti-Gbajabiamila group soft pedals on Gbajabiamila

It would be recalled that several media Houses reported that the PSG group is shopping for a southwestern reps member to replace Gbajabiamila.
Although, Jibrin in his tweet acknowledged that there exist division within the ranks of APC caucus, he argued that it’s more of “internal issues” that will be sorted out internally.
