2Baba urges NCC to intervene in COSON’s crisis (Punch)

Music megastar, Innocent Idibia, aka, 2Baba, has waded into the lingering crisis in Copyright Society of Nigeria by writing a petition to the Nigeria Copyright Commission, calling for intervention.

In the petition dated 12th April, 2018, the singer sought the assistance of the Inspector General of Police to stop the alleged harassment of Mr. Efe Omoregbe, who is chairman of COSON board; and Mr. Joel Ajayi, who is a member of the board by Police as they carry out COSON’s legitimate business.

Omorogbe, 47, is well known in the music industry for being 2Baba’s manager for more than a decade.

2Baba condemned the crisis rocking the association, referring to it as “disheartening.” Read more
