Contrary to her wish, Glory (pseudonym) has assumed motherhood at 14 when her peers are schooling.

The primary five pupils were allegedly defiled by a 67-year-old landlord on Legacy Road, Ayobo, Lagos State, one Sanni Arowolo aka Matagbamole.

It was learnt that Glory’s aunt, identified simply as Bose, had rented a shop from Arowolo where she sold beans. Read more

Following persistent heavy rainfall yesterday, a Nursery and Primary school in Agege Local Government Area, of Lagos State, was submerged in floodwater.

The heavy rainfall which started as early as 8 am, paralysed both human and vehicular activities as most parts of the state were taken over by flash floods. As a result of the downpour, motorists and commuters were trapped in traffic across the state. Read more
