A 50-year-old man, Prince Akeem Olanipekun, was yesterday allegedly beaten to death with a charm.
The Nation learnt that the incident occurred at Imo, Arigidi in Akoko Northwest Local Government of Ondo State.
Sources said more suspected hoodlums accosted the deceased and asked him to pay a charge for erecting canopies for a social engagement.
It was gathered that an argument ensued between the deceased and the area boys.
The Nation learnt that during the argument, one of the hoodlums went home and returned with a charm, which he allegedly used to beat the deceased for refusing to “settle them.” Read more
