Abuja International Film Festival opens call for AIFF/HYPO CLEAN TO SHOOT competition 

The Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) has announced the eagerly anticipated AIFF/HYPO CLEAN TO SHOOT competition for budding filmmakers and storytellers. This unique competition sponsored by Hypo Homecare Ltd, offers filmmakers the chance to showcase their creativity while championing the importance of hygiene in society.

From September 11th to October 11th, 2023, filmmakers are invited to submit their short films, with a maximum duration of five minutes. 

According to the organisers, the stakes are high, with generous cash prizes up for grabs: N750,000 for the 1st Prize, N500,000 for the 2nd Prize, and N250,000 for the 3rd Prize.

Organised by the renowned Abuja International Film Festival, the AIFF/HYPO CLEAN TO SHOOT competition seeks to address the pressing issue of hygiene through the powerful medium of filmmaking. Entrants are encouraged to create short films that educate, inspire and entertain while shedding light on the importance of hygiene.

Filmmakers are given creative freedom to explore the theme of hygiene from various angles, whether through drama, comedy, animation or any captivating genre of their choice.
