Africa’s leading female filmmakers to headline 2024 Women in Film and TV Conference in Lagos

The Forum of Women in Film and TV in Nigeria (FWIFT Nigeria) is set to host the highly anticipated 2024 Women in Film and TV Conference on September 18th at the Africa Creative Market, Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

This event, according to a statement, will bring together Africa’s most prominent women in film and television to shape the future of storytelling, amplify female voices, and launch innovative collaborative projects.

The impressive lineup of speakers includes Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa; Managing Director, Noni Movies, Alison Richards; President, Forum for Women in Film and TV Nigeria, Joke Silva; President, Women in Film and Television, Senegal,Fatou Jupiter; Managing Director, Temple Productions and Temple Media,  Ego Boyo and Nigerian film director, Mildred Okwo.
