Air Force personnel returns lost €37,000 to owner (Guardian)

A Nigeria Air Force personnel, Bashir Umar has returned the sum of €37,000 (N312.7 million) to its owner, Alhaji Ahmad, who misplaced the money at the Hajj Camp in Kano State.

Umar, a member of the NAF Mobile Air Defence Team (MADT), was on duty with his colleagues when he found the money on 16, July 2019.

Reports claimed that a number was written on the parcel which was used to locate the owner.

The Air Force in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Sadique Abubakar, commended the officer for being honest, transparent and diligent in his line of duty. Read more
