Dillian Whyte’s rematch with Alexander Povetkin has been postponed after the Russian tested positive for coronavirus.
Povetkin, 41, produced a stunning knockout win over the British heavyweight in August and the pair were due to fight again on 21 November.
Promoter Eddie Hearn tweeted Povetkin was “in hospital”.
“Povetkin-Whyte II is postponed with a new target date of 30 January 2021,” Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing tweeted. (BBC)
