Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker had the opportunity to join Chelsea in the summer, but has explained that Champions League football attracted him to Anfield.
The Brazilian stopper moved from Roma to Liverpool for around £67m ahead of the 2018/19 season, but Merseyside was not his only option at the time.
The 26-year-old has revealed that Chelsea were also interested in his services, but the allure of competing in Europe’s top competition drew him to Liverpool.
