Police attached to the Fegge division in Onitsha have arrested one Felix Owaya, 48, of Ika South LGA, Delta State, and recovered 375 live cartridges during an operation at Niger Street, Fegge, Onitsha.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Toochukwu Ikenga, said that during interrogation, the suspect confessed that he was sent by a Mr Charles Ogboma to collect the ammunition for an unnamed man.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, while commending police officers who made the recovery for their vigilance and tenacity of purpose, directs all personnel in the Command to sustain the tempo of crime prevention and detection in service of the people of the state.” (Sun)
