Anita Okoye, wife of Paul Okoye of the now-defunct music group, P-square, has sent a divorce petition to her husband as she requested an Abuja High Court to end their marriage.
A document sighted by The PUNCH on Friday revealed that Anita sent a petition, which institutes the “proceedings for a Decree of dissolution of marriage” between her and Paul Okoye.
Rumours of the split between Paul and his wife gained prominence in April when Anita relocated to the United States with their children.
Efforts to reach Paul Okoye proved abortive. However, when our correspondent reached out to Paul’s brother, Jude Okoye, he cut the call abruptly. Paul and Anita got married in 2014 and have three children together. (Punch)
