Anthony Joshua responds to Deontay Wilder’s outburst over Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua has reacted to Deontay Wilder’s astonishing attack on Tyson Fury and believes the American heavyweight has inadvertently revealed ‘the truth’ about the offer AJ’s camp made to him.

Wilder is livid that WBC champion Fury has backed away from their trilogy fight after a string of delays, claiming the Gypsy King cheated in the both their previous bouts, and has demanded he honour their contract for a third fight.

Writing on social media, Wilder said: ‘I told you that I would give you a rematch.

You know I was offered more money to fight Joshua than I was getting to fight you. Being a man of my word, I fought you like I said I would.’

For a long time the Bronze Bomber had claimed he never received an offer from Joshua, even suggesting the three-belt champ was scared to face him, but his latest comments have vindicated AJ’s stance that it was Wilder who stopped the fight from happening. (Metro)
