Manchester United are set to announce a new five-year deal for Anthony Martial after the Frenchman agreed to stay at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have been locked in negotiations with the Frenchman’s agent over the last 12 months but talks slowed early in 2018 following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.
Martial lost his place in the side and his relationship with Jose Mourinho deteriorated to the point where his representatives claimed last summer that he wanted to leave the club.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival has given Martial a new lease of life at Old Trafford and talks have accelerated in the last fortnight. Read more
