The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State and the immediate past governor of the state, Mr Ayodele Fayose, on Monday differed on an alleged plot to disrupt the yearly Udiroko Festival in Ado Ekiti.
The APC accused Fayose of a plot to cause havoc during the celebration with the intention of destabilisng the government of Dr Kayode Fayemi.
However, Fayose said the APC was only afraid of his shadow, adding that “his footprints (are) haunting the Fayemi government.”
The annual Udiroko Festival signifies the first day of the traditional calendar of the ancient Ado Ekiti community. Read more
