My sister, this is an article worth sharing to all groups we are on that have mothers, fathers and family members. Well done again sis for a great write up. Ironically just yesterday, we were having a conversation along these lines and I heard a new one. Most children in the supposed elite private schools now all want to go to “the abroad”. So you find these young children, who are going to universities in Nigeria lying to their peers with statements such as “my parents are still deciding whether I am going to UK or US” OR, “I am taking a gap year” etc meanwhile admission to a Nigerian Uni is already settled. I was in pains yesterday, imagining the psyche of those children but I realized that I had actually had one or two such conversations with some children in recent years, I just never understood the motives. My sisters, let us not “pepper dem” to the detriment of our peace of mind o… Thanks again Tara for bringing this to the front burner.
