Martin Keown has urged Adam Lallana to consider a move away from Liverpool if he fails to secure regular playing time ‘in the next couple of months’.
Injury problems meant Lallana managed just 16 appearances for Liverpool last season and the 31-year-old midfielder has only made two substitute appearances so far this term.
Jurgen Klopp hinted at a position change for Lallana by experimenting with the England international as a No.6 in pre-season.
In preparation for his new role, Lallana has been studying Fabinho and Barcelona wonderkid Frenkie de Jong as he waits for his chance in Liverpool’s first-team. Read more
