A resident of Ushafa Community in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been shot dead.

The man was killed when bandits invaded his residence on Thursday night.

A police source confirmed the incident, but did not go into details.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has exhumed bodies of kidnapped marine hunters of the Ministry of Internal Security and Inland Waterways.

It was gathered that the victims were kidnapped, murdered and buried in shallow graves, on August 18, by some notorious criminals in Unyenghe, Mbo Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom.

According to Seoul-based news agency Yonhap, prosecutors have demanded Son senior, and two other football coaches at his training centre, the Son Academy, ‘pay an undisclosed fine’.

NHL’s Johnny Gaudreau, brother, killed by suspected drunk driver night before sister’s wedding (UPI)

Columbus Blue Jackets winger Johnny Gaudreau, 31, and his 29-year-old brother, Matthew, died after being struck by a vehicle while riding their bikes in Salem County, N.J., New Jersey State Police confirmed Friday.

Police said the driver of that vehicle, 43-year-old Sean Higgins, was “suspected of being under the influence of alcohol” and has been charged with two counts of death by auto as a result of the incident, which occurred Thursday. He was booked into the Salem County Correctional Facility.
