Bindow seeks forgiveness from Adamawa people (Guardian)

Preparatory to the hand-over ceremony on May 29, outgoing governor of Adamawa State, Mohammed Bindow, yesterday in Yola delivered his farewell speech in which he apologised to former Governor Murtala Nyako and the people of the state for misrule.

Bindow, who was speaking incoherently, said: “I apologise to everyone that I have offended collectively and individually.

I will not forget the support I got from the people of Adamawa. I wish I had done better, but I have done what I can with the resources available to me.” Read more
