Blackky: Let the music play again

The last time Edward Inyang a.k.a. Blackky really tweeted was on December 31, 2016.

His handle @Blackky3 has been docile ever since except for a couple of retweets. What else has been that way is the raga musician’s music career, which clocked 26 last year on August 1.

“Wishing you all a Blazing New Year!!!May God Grant you all your Heart’s Desire in this New Brand year of 2017!!Bless,” he had tweeted on the night of that December 31.

It is not like he tweets that much but for someone who reached the status that he got to in his career at an early age, too, one expects that the music will go on playing till very late in his life. Who was it that said the music never stops for a musician. Of course, until death separates them.

So, he has been quoted to have said he is working on an album but 10 or more years is a long time to dedicate to one album particularly for someone who made six albums with many hits and awards between 1991 and 2005.

So he was at Darey Art Alade’s ‘Love Like a Movie Concert 3’ and even jammed at Ade Bantu’s Afropolitan Vibes, and a few other concerts the year before the last one, but the question is, what has happened to him ever since? And compared to the last but one year, so far, the year before was a big year for Blackky.

It is ‘About Tyme’ Blackky released that album or even a single or is this the end of the music road for the Festac-based Blackky, who should have hundred of tricks to teach many  an up-and-coming musician?
