Buhari to, finally, address the nation at 7pm

After weeks of #EndSars protest and a military action that caused mayhem on Tuesday October 20, 2020, President Muhammadu Buhari has now responded to calls to address the nation.

This was part of the requests of the #EndSars protesters.

The news was conveyed in a statement from Aso Rock and was signed by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina. The nationwide address is slated for 7pm.

PRESIDENT BUHARI ADDRESSES THE NATION

Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
