Car crashes into Hong Kong protesters who formed road block (Metro)

One person has been injured after a car rammed into a barricade of striking protesters in Hong Kong on Monday.

Multiple videos show a large car driving up to a roadblock set up in the Yuen Long area as part of one of the largest strikes in Hong Kong’s history.

In the incident, which occurred around 10.30 am local time, the car drove up to the concrete barricade surrounded by protesters and repeatedly rammed against it.

Several protesters remained in the path of the car trying to hold the barrier in place and prevent the car passing through them. Read more
