Carlo Ancelotti ‘demands Real Madrid transfer’ to replace Arsene Wenger (Express)

Arsenal could turn to Ancelotti after it was confirmed Wenger would be leaving the club after 22 years in charge.

Ancelotti has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich in October, making the Italian an appealing choice to the Gunners hierarchy.

However, Spanish website El Gol Digital say Ancelotti has told Arsenal he will only take the job if promised Real Madrid hitman Benzema.

Benzema has long been on Arsenal’s radar.

Wenger was keen to sign the France striker back in 2009, only for Benzema to end up moving from Lyon to Real Madrid instead. Read more
