Celine Dion has reportedly landed her very own biopic movie, following in the footsteps of Elton John and Queen’s Freddie Mercury.
According to Variety, a $23 million film detailing the singer’s career, life and music is being put together by French studio Gaumont.
It will follow Celine’s childhood in Quebec, along with her rise to fame and family life with her husband Rene Angelil, who was also her manager and passed away in 2016 following his battle with throat cancer.
Celine has given the project her approval and given the production the rights to her songs, with the movie set to include some of her greatest hits, including All By Myself and My Heart Will Go On. Read more
