Chelsea are monitoring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future at Arsenal with Frank Lampard keen on signing the Gabon international. The 30-year-old is out of contract in 2021 and he’s rejected two proposals from Arsenal over an extension.
Aubameyang last played Champions League football in 2017 and the Gunners look unlikely to qualify in the top four this term. Barcelona are interested in signing Aubameyang and Arsenal would reluctantly agree to a deal of around £50m, particularly in the current financial climate.
Manchester United have also been keeping an eye on Aubameyang but Bleacher Report claim Chelsea are the latest interested party. (Text and photo courtesy Metro)
