Chelsea given green light to sign Christian Pulisic (Metro)

Dortmund are willing to sell Chelsea and Liverpool target Christian Pulisic – if they receive a bid in the region of £70million.

The American winger has 18 months to run on his deal in Germany and has stated on a number of occasions his desire to move to the Premier League.

Chelsea are determined to keep Eden Hazard but his reluctance to sign a new deal has forced them into drawing up replacements and Pulisic heads the Blues’ list.

Dortmund know they will not be short of suitors for Pulisic and, though he’ll only have 12 months to run on his deal by next summer, they’re confident of getting around £70m for the winger according to the Telegraph.

Jurgen Klopp worked with Pulisic in Germany and remains a huge admirer of the midfielder, though Liverpool are not exactly in dire need of more firepower in wide areas.

While the Premier League rivals will feel £70m is hefty for a player nearing the end of his deal, Dortmund’s willingness to do business could see them beat Europe’s elite to Pulisic’s signature. Read more
