Tiemoue Bakayoko has claimed that he was simply repeating Gennaro Gattuso’s own words when he was caught telling AC Milan’s manager to ‘f*** off’ during the side’s 2-1 win over Bologna.
The 24-year-old, who Chelsea loaned to Milan at the start of the season, infuriated Gattuso last week by arriving late to training and was named among the substitutes at the San Siro on Monday night.
Gattuso ordered Bakayoko to warm-up as Lucas Biglia went down injured midway through the first half but the Italian was seemingly unsatisfied with the midfielder’s efforts on the touchline.
In a frosty clash between the pair in Milan’s dugout, Bakayoko was pictured telling Gattuso to ‘f*** off” as he retook his place on the bench with Jose Mauri eventually chosen to replace Biglia. Read more
