Committed leaders will bring Nigeria back on track – Obi

Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi, has called on the leaders of Nigeria to make little sacrifices for the progress and development of Nigeria. Obi said this at the just concluded crusade by the Lord’s Chosen Church, at Mgbidi in Imo State.

Obi said that though the problems of the country were many, but that it required a committed leadership to begin the processes of solving those problems and within a short time, the country would be back on track.

Speaking further, Obi identified some of the problems to be hinged on poor economic policies. He said even when good policies were put in place that the leaders lacked the courage to implement them as they should.

Regretting the spate of unemployment, restiveness and agitations in the country, he traced them to faulty economic policies and implementation. He assured Nigerians that as a wealth creator and one of the biggest employers of labour in Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku knows how to solve the problems of the country as contained in his Action Plan.

The General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, thanked Mr. Peter Obi for his efforts to always be close to God. He noted that Obi has not missed their programmes even as a governor.
