Count us out of plot to unseat Oshiomhole — Edo APC (Punch)

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has told members of the party, who lost the party’s primaries, to count it out of the alleged plan to remove the national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

It also said that the purported move to oust Oshiomhole was a ‘symptom of unhappiness by aggrieved party members and a threat that has a limited capacity.’

The chairmen of the APC in the 36 states were reportedly said to be working with some high-ranking leaders of the party to call for a National Executive Committee meeting to unseat the national chairman.

But the Edo State Chairman of the APC, Anselm Ojezua, while reacting to the alleged plot in a telephone chat with The PUNCH on Sunday, said, “We are not involved in any manner.”
