COVID-19: Nigeria records 348 new cases, as tally rises to 11,166

Nigeria has recorded 348 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 11,166.

The new cases were announced on Wednesday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its verified Twitter handle.

It listed the 348 new cases to include 163 in Lagos, 76 for FCT, 23 Ebonyi and 21 Rivers. Eight each for Delta, Nasarawa and Niger, while Enugu recorded six. Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, and Gombe had five cases each. Benue recorded four cases, Ogun two, while Osun, Plateau, Kogi and Anambra had one new case each.

Of the total confirmed cases on June 3, 3,329 have been discharged and sadly, 315 have died.
