Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has denied making a Nazi salute during a meal with his teammates.
The 31-year-old appeared to be doing the salute in a photo which was posted on Instagram by his Palace teammate Max Meyer.
Meyer, a German midfielder, subsequently deleted the photo from his Instagram account.
But Hennessey insists he was waving at the person taking the photo and cupping his hand over his mouth as he shouted at them.
