Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson Akande has taken legal action against Gistlover blog over unfounded accusations of being Godswill Akpabio’s side chic.
New Telegraph reports that Dakore was mentioned among some of her colleagues as being a side chic to the Senate President, released by an Instagram blogger, Gistlover.
Reacting to the allegation, she threatened to take legal action against Gistlover, refuting every allegations levelled against her.
She categorically stated that she has never met Godswill Akpabio in her life and she is happily married with two children.
Hours after debunking allegations on social media and threatening to sue Gistlover, the renowned actress took to her Instagram page to share a cease and desist letter against Gistlover.
According to the letter, the controversial blog was instructed to take down Dakore’s photo and retract every defamatory statement levelled against her.
Failure to comply in the next 24 hours will result in an aggressive legal action against Gistlover which may include seeking damages, injunctive relief and legal costs incurred from defamation. (NewTelegraph)
