David de Gea praises Anthony Martial ahead of Man Utd’s clash with PSG (Metro)

David de Gea is expecting a tough test against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions league last 16 but believes Manchester United have the players to make a difference.

The Red Devils will be in European action for the first time under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, having won 10 of their previous 11 domestic matches under the Norwegian.

Solskjaer named a heavily rotated side for Saturday’s win over Fulham in anticipation of facing PSG, with Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba both scoring – and De Gea expects both players to be crucial against the French champions.

The shot-stopper told Telefoot: ‘Honestly, we have a team that could win something, with young players who are very ambitious like Paul, who is young but has a lot of experience and is fundamental for us. Read more
