Dialogue is better than war, Dokubo tells Niger Deltans (Punch)

The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Prof. Charles Dokubo, has urged the youths in the region to desist from oil pipeline vandalism, saying it has brought no one any good.

Dokubo argued that dialogue rather than war was a better approach to the resolution of any conflict.

He, however, said the Presidential Amnesty programme had brought peace and stability to the region.

A statement on Sunday by his media adviser, Murphy Ganagana, quoted Dokubo as saying this in Lagos at the weekend during an interactive session with 137 beneficiaries of the Amnesty Programme who were undergoing training in various skills at the Ezonebi Training Centre, Igando. Read more
