Popular Nigerian female disc jockey, Olawunmi ‘DJ Lambo’ Okerayi alongside other women in the Nigerian music sector have been billed to speak at ‘Women in Live Music Business in Nigeria Workshop.’
The event, which is hosted by Kontentt Live Limited, is scheduled to hold on January 31, at the Radisson Hotels, Lagos.
DJ Lambo, it was gathered, will speak on the topic ‘Performance and Music Business.’
Other speakers include Moyosore Shomade, who will talk on ‘Backstage Management and Tour Management’, Omolola Oyedele will address the issues on ‘Contract Negotiation’, while ‘Yemisi Falaye will give a lecture on ‘Artiste Management.’
According to the organisers, the workshop is intended for young women, between the ages of 18 and 35, with an interest in a career in music, as well as other adjacent fields to the music business.
Kontentt Live’s project manager, Opeyemi Balogun said the workshop is put together to encourage women in the creative sector.
