The pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has called on the governors of the South-West not to provide land for the proposed cattle ranches in their respective states. The group said any state governor who granted permission for a ranch for the Fulani herdsmen would face the wrath of the people of Yorubaland. This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting of the association held at the residence of its leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Tuesday.
