An Ekiti State High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti, on Tuesday, remanded one Basiru Adeyanju in prison custody for allegedly raping his 17-year-old daughter.
Justice Oluwatoyin Abodunde, after listening to the argument of the concerned parties, ordered that the suspect be remanded in prison and adjourned the matter till October 2, 2019, for further hearing.
Adeyanju, a resident of Irona in Ado Ekiti, who was alleged to have molested his teenage daughter on September 10, 2017, is facing two counts of rape and attempted rape. Read more
