There was a heavy presence of security men at all the entrances leading to Ekiti State Government House in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday.
The security agents prevented vehicles from going in and out of the government house but allowed pedestrians to go in to join the Ekiti drivers’ unions which had assembled at the Government House since Monday night.
The carnival-like assembly had a musician on stage performing to the delight of the drivers and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Fayose chided the Federal Government for drafting security men to block the gates of the Government House. Read more
