Larry Ekundayo will defend his International Boxing Federation European title in Lagos, his commercial agent, Ben Gray, has disclosed.
Gray said this during a reception for Ekundayo at the Nigeria High Commission in London on Thursday, an emailed statement on Sunday by the Director of Africa Division of Peel Aston Global, Khomeini Bukhari, said.
Ekundayo’s agent stated that the boxer would fight in Lagos and London before aiming for a world title, adding that the fights would be used to draw company executives and senior business people to attend business summits organised by the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit.
Gray explained that about $2m would be raised from private and public organisations to drive the economic partnership between UK and Nigeria. Read more
