Eddie Hearn has revealed plans to bring boxing back to the UK by staging championship fights on his 15-acre estate in Essex.
Boxing has been suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control since March amid the coronavirus pandemic and a host of massive fights have been cancelled as a result – including Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev and Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce.
The Board has said boxing can return once the British government gives the green light, but fights must be held behind closed doors and follow strict medical protocols. (Text, photo by Metro)
