F9 release date pushed back to spring 2021 after James Bond move

The release date for the latest instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise has been pushed back to May 2021.

F9 – which stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and John Cena – was originally meant to premiere in May this year but the coronavirus outbreak meant they had to move it to April 2021.

But it will now be released on Memorial Day weekend on May 28, 2021, according to Variety.

The move comes after No Time To Die’s premiere date was delayed yet again from November 2020 to April 2, 2021. We can’t have anything this year, it seems. (Metro)
