A former governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, is dead.
He was elected governor of Kaduna state in 1979 on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

According to a Thisday report, one of his daughters, Hajiya Zulai Musa, confirmed his death in a telephone interview with the newspaper.
She said he would be buried on Wednesday afternoon in Kaduna.
