The final match came to a dramatic finish with France beating Croatia 4-2 to lift the world cup.
France opened the tally with an own goal from Croatia’s Mandzukic.
Then goals came from Griezman, Pogba and Mbappe.
Croatia goal scorers were Perezic and Manduzic who incidentally scored an own goal.
And so France lifted the trophy 30 years after they last won it.
