Frank Lampard has confirmed Ethan Ampadu will be leaving Chelsea on loan this summer.
The 18-year-old made only five first-team appearances under Maurizio Sarri last season and didn’t feature at all in the Premier League.
Ampadu has not travelled with Chelsea’s squad for their pre-season tour of Japan as he looks to complete his temporary move away from Stamford Bridge.
And Lampard admits he is keen for Ampadu to get more playing time on loan this season. Read more
