Gabriel Afolayan has said that contrary to popular belief he has been working with his elder brother filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, all along.
“There is no film Kunle shoots that he doesn’t give me the script to go through. So, it’s not true that we don’t work together. I just work more behind the scene,” the actor made the clarification at a world press conference in Lagos today, Thursdy, January 9, to announce Kunle Afolayan’s new movie, Citation.
His comment was meant to pre-empt questions as he is introduced as a cast member of Kunle Afolayan’s forthcoming movie. The script is, as usual, by frequent collaborator, Tunde Babalola.
Gabriel has been cast alongside Sadiq Daba and Jimmy Jean Louis amongst others.
