Gary Neville believes that Manchester United will miss Ander Herrera with reports this week claiming that the Spanish midfielder has agreed a lucrative three-year deal with PSG.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer and looks set to complete a move to the Ligue 1 champions in a deal worth a reported £160,000 per week after talks between his representatives and Manchester United broke down.
Herrera isn’t the only first-team player set to depart Old Trafford with club captain Antonio Valencia and Juan Mata also reaching the end of their contracts while there has been speculation over the futures of David De Gea, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.
Although Herrera hasn’t always been an undisputed starter for United, Neville believes that his departure will be keenly felt by his fellow midfield players Pogba and Nemanja Matic as his energy and tenacity compliments their styles of play. Read more
