George Clooney has spoken out against the media frenzy surrounding his friend Meghan Markle, saying it reminds him of Princess Diana’s treatment before her tragic death.
The 57-year-old actor, who was a guest at the royal wedding last May, believes ‘it’s history repeating itself’.
‘They’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified,’ Clooney told Australia’s Who magazine.
‘She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and it’s history repeating itself.’ Read more
