Glo takes youth product, My-G, to Nigerian cities

Technology company, Globacom, on Thursday unveiled a multi-city entertainment tour for its youth-centric product, My-G. The entertainment blast is targeted at exciting youths across the country and highlighting the amazing benefits of the offer.

My-G, an innovative data offering, was recently introduced by Globacom to cater to the entertainment and connectivity needs of young Nigerians.

The company announced at a press conference held in Lagos that it would take the message of the enormous benefits of My-G data bundle to young people across several Nigerian cities with experiential engagements.

Its Director of Creativity, Mr. Chuka Obi, stated that My-G offers unique data bundles which enable customers to access their favourite entertainment sites, social media platforms, and streaming services at affordable rates.

The announcement of the entertainment and engagement train was applauded excitedly by the youth leaders present at the event as they believe it would create a great opportunity for young people to engage with the brand that has remained focused at connecting young people to their passions and empowering them at affordable costs.

Morakinyo Olaolu, President, Students Union Government (SUG), Yaba College of Technology, said, “This is a good initiative for youth development. We thank Glo for My-G which is for us the Youth.”

Also speaking at the event, Adebobola Ayomide, SUG President, Lagos State University, stated: “My-G will help the youth to stay more active online. Similarly, Adekanye Ibukunoluwa, Representative of University of Lagos SUG, declared, “Thanks to Glo for putting the Youth into consideration.
