Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg said Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was ‘obviously not doing enough’ to save the environment at a meeting today.
The PM called Greta the ‘voice of a generation’ as she was in Montreal to march against climate change as part of a second wave of global protests.
During the march a man was arrested after lunging at the Canadian leader, who announced plans to plant 2 billion trees over the next decade as an election pledge.
He said: ‘(Greta) is the voice of a generation, of young people who are calling on their leaders to do more and do better, and I am listening.’ Read more
