A head teacher has been dubbed the most miserable in Britain after banning children from bringing in sweets on their birthday.
Pupils at Wateringbury Primary School are already subject to a ban on juice and crisps – except on Fridays – in a bid to make them more healthy.
Headteacher Chasey Crawford-Usher described the sharing of sweets as a ‘nightmare tradition’ that added to obesity and tooth decay.
