Homes destroyed as Kogi crisis spreads to Nasarawa (Punch)

A violent clash between the Egbura and Bassa people in Kpenche, Kogi State has spilled over to communities in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State leading to destruction of homes and properties.

It was gathered that the Bassa were displaced from their communities after they were allegedly attacked by the Egbura on Thursday and Friday.

The President, National Association of Bassa Students, Nasarawa State Chapter, Abraham Gbaje explained that the crisis in the area started on April 22 when Egbura militants reportedly attacked Kpenche, a Bassa town.
